Hi All,

As some of you know, I did write to Morneau Sobeco , our Benefits Administer, requesting information on the financial impact on the merged pension plan as a result of YPG's purchase of Super Pages.

I also, requested the December 2005 audited financial statements enabling us to compare the performance from the audited statement December 31,2004.

These documents were requested May 11th, I called them on June 23rd, when they returned my call they advised me they would be in the mail that week. I received this package June 30th, as my suite number was incorrect. Not too impressed so far, but when I opened the package, enclosed was an 82 page document of the amended Yellow Pages Co Pension Plan, as of Jan 1, 2006. The other document was an 54 page document outlining the actuarial valuation on the merger as of December 31, 2005. I am quite sure there is a message here, and I am not sure I like it.

However, if you have not called them to send you a copy of the impact of the Super Pages Pension Fund merging in with the Yellow Pages, as outlined in our April notification, I would ask that you do so. They also said we will be invited to a fall session.  Apparently, they will be calling other retirees prior to this "fall session", to obtain questions which "they" may have.

The telephone number to call is 1 800-417-2114, I suggest that you only ask for the "official amendment" after the merger of these two plans. That means you will only receive 54 pages, The 82 document is simply copies of all pension plans including Telus.

I would appreciate it, if you would call and obtain copies, remember we are all Pensioner's, not just me. Thanks Jan
